Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Join Forces to boost Thailand Industry 4.0 and Connect the World
Leading Taiwan Smart Industrial Machinery Tools manufacturing are set to unveil a series of smart manufacturing initiatives for a range of applications at METALEX 2018 exhibition during November 21 – 24, 2018. These smart manufacturing will announce key strategy in developing smart production process to boost the innovation of machinery which will promote Thailand towards 4.0 Era. In responding to the mission of Industry 4.0, these leading operators from Taiwan will have the showcase of their innovation and solution at METALEX 2018.
This year, TAITRA and 20 smart manufacturers from Taiwan Excellence will present their cutting edge technology and solutions at Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at Metalex 2018. The participating companies included leading manufacturers will showcase a broad range of industrial equipment, from cutting-edge CNC machine centers, grinding machine and press machine to various accessories that included linear guideway, cutting tools, and tool holders.
The venue serves as a platform for operators and manufacturing factories to exchange key information on production, notably about the advice on high-quality machinery in which the products from Taiwanese manufacturer are often in high demand and well-recognized by industrial operators for their quality and advanced innovation.
At the press conference, there are leading smart machine tool companies presenting their latest top notch products and solutions to support Thai manufacturers on transforming to Thailand 4.0. The companies who present their solutions and technology at the press conference are Advantech Co., Ltd., TBI Motion Technology Co., Ltd., Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd., and Toyo Automation Co., Ltd.
“Taiwan is keen on supporting Thailand 4.0. We are keen to introduce the latest smart manufacturing solution from Taiwan leading manufacturers of machine tools. We believe this is a good indicator that Thailand’s purchasing power within Taiwan is exhibiting continuous growth. Taiwan is Thailand’s most trusted partner, and together we will work to bring Thailand 4.0 to completion in the near future” said by Mr. Jason Hsue, the Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand during a press conference held on November 21th.
- Taiwan government is committed to promoting the smart machinery industry with the aim of making Taiwan a global manufacturing hub for intelligent machinery and capitalize on the Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0, or the fourth industrial revolution, refers to an industrial transformation aided by smart manufacturing and data exchange, such as high-level factory automation and Internet of Things applications.

• SAG-DE Angle Head Holder for Dual Side Machining Shin-Yain Industrial Co. Ltd. TM-5 Robot by Techman Robot Co. Ltd.. The robot which thinks and operates like a human being will also be featured at the event.
Currently, Thailand is advancing its Thailand 4.0 whereas Taiwan is pushing for its New Southbound policy. Thailand and Taiwan, hence, can work together in regards to development of robot industry, aerospace, submarine, medical tools, electronics, computer parts and mobile phones, digital economic, medicine, and green energy technology. The joint effort will help and push for Thailand’s economic development.
